Office today - Covering three desks

It has been a busy whole of today as the other two officers are on leave. It is tough covering three desks more so on a month end and everybody would like their drawdown to go through. Many was on the new products of Receivable finance where the account managers will get extra points for drawdown in the month of Nov 2009. Many thanks to the Champions League (not the EUFA) but the incentive name for this month and everybody is chasing for that dateline. Hope that this month end will go through without much hiccup..

EPL-Arsenal vs Chelsea and Everton vs Liverpool

This blog should have been written yesteday before the matches are played but could not find any internet connection whole day. Liverpool can ease off a little bit as their genuine opponent (Man City and Spurs) for the final Champions League spot neat year drew their matches the day before. They should win their match and close the gap with the fourth position team. As for Chelsea, they have no choice but to win their match to extend the lead as Man United won the night before. We should be in for an exciting Sunday Night soccer.

The Big Iban Gathering Kuching Sarawak

This is an event where I wish I am there but my leave was not approved due to Hari Raya Aidil Adha. Thank God I have not purchased my flight ticket yet. Most of the Malays are taking their leave during this period and priority is given to them as it is their festive season. Nonetheless looking forward to the day trip to Kuching Sarawak next Saturday. It is a privilege to step into the Land and as mentioned in my blog few days ago, may the Land be blessed, the people will claim their rights and grab the opportunity. God loves the Land of Sarawak also.

Pre Teen Children Retreat in Alor Setar Kedah

It is my privilege to travel with three pre teen children from KL to Alor Setar Kedah last night. Took us eight hours instead of normal six hours due to heavy traffic. Will be spending the next two days with them as their parents is involve with Eduweek. If it continue on, I may have to change from pre teen to teenagers next year as two of them will be thirteen soon. Last year started with one and this year it multiplied to three. Hopefully next year will still go on with more children. Cant wait for another to years for Caleb to join us all. His parents will give the green light once he reaches ten years old. Thank you parents from In Touch Church for allowing me to spend time and take care of your children.

This is the day that the Lord has made

Yesterday was the day that I wish it does not exist. I missed the In Touch Church Praise and Worship practise and for strange reason it really did not crossed my mind at all. First the worship director issue an email that it is cancel as he will get those that is in Eduweek to be involved. Next he sent a SMS informing that it will be on at Sekolah Sri Nobel on Wednesday. Probably the stressful nine hours at office (try sign off USD One Hundred million alone when your reporting executive is away, bigger boss keep on calling every hour to check out, lawyers has not given you proper confirmation to release, counter signing executive is merely signing off without checking, etc) and busy throughout the day has taken its toll on me (imagine receive reporting figures of the week at 5.40pm where you have to complete it by end of day. Mind you the total figures is not small though - RM62.0million) I knew of the disaster and correction I am going to receive when the worship director called up around 10pm when I am still on the way driving home. The line pula got cut off cause battery flat. My sincere apology to you my beloved worship director and the whole worship team.

Leaving the Land of Sibu Sarawak

One teacher serving there in Sibu Sarawak close to five years release these words to that land during her departure on the school holiday recently. She will be transferred to Semenanjung Malaysia an serve here once the school reopen next year. 1) The land will be blessed 2) The people will claim their rights 3) The people will grab the opportunities. How wonderful to have those words released further by her comments that we (West Malaysian) has taken much of (natural) resources from them (East Malaysian) and so little was them for the people there. I could not agree with her more on this and believe that we as West Malaysian has short changed a lot on the East Malaysian.

Sports... Sports... Sports

Last Monday I spoke of one up (we won Men singles final in Hong Kong Super Series Badminton) and one down (our hockey team lost to New Zealand and fail to qualify to World Cup) to Malaysian sports. Last weekend was two down as Nicol David (our squash queen) lost in Qatar Open and our badminton Men Doubles lost in the final of China Super Series. Let us hope Liverpool will beat Hungarian club and Lyon will do them a favour to beat Fiorentina and open Liverpool chances of advance to the next round of Champions League. I wish English clubs would have four representative in the knock out stage of the competition. There will be three tests for cricket starting this midweek and hoping for a win to India and New Zealand and should be a routine win for Australia. After all is said, midweek is not boring though.

Spoken by our Queen of Squash - Nicol David

Extracted from The Star today. 'All the girls are stepping up their games when they play against me and you know it's going to be tough out there. The important thing is to keep to game plan, work hard and get to every ball'. I like what she says and spend some time on it during my devotion this morning. The question asked was : 1)What is God's game plan? That all will come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. 2)Working hard? Indeed the harvest are plentiful but the workers are few. 3) Get to every ball? Go and get every souls especially this Christmas season and present it to Jesus as your gift to Him this year as the Christians around the world celebrates His birth.

This is the day that the Lord has made

It feels good to start the day picking up a pastor a.k.a. Pope (for those that does not know him, be nice to one family that I refer them as One United Family in my blog) at 5am. Then got a directive from my worship director to look for I will sing - Don Moen DVD around 10am. Little did he realize that Salvation Book Centre does not open on Sunday morning. (Their staffs need to attend worship service in respective churches lah. Not every church is privilege as ours to have worship service starts at 1pm) As expected they are closed and went to MPH Subang Parade to look for him but also could not find. Later he ask me go to Salvation Phileo Avenue but they are closed on Saturday and Sunday. I did my best to find for him but my best was not good enough to get it for him. My sincere apology Chee Peng.

English Premier League this weekend

This post should be written on yesterday before the matches starts but internet connection was bad. So I wrote this today as if without knowing the results. It should be a routine win the the big four (Man United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal) before their Champions League matches on midweek. Chelsea and Man United should sweep through their opponent by playing at home. Liverpool should have a tougher time against Man City and Arsenal for playing away(remember Sunderland is where Liverpool lost their game few weeks ago with beach ball incident) Hopeful for a weekend full of goals.

Post Match comments France vs Ireland

There was many comments on Thierry Henry handball during the extra time of the match which eventually turns out to be the winning goal and elimination to Ireland. France will go through to South Afdrica next year but the question is on the integrity of the game. Of course he did publicly acknowledge it is a handball and just that the referee and linesman does not see it and the goal stood. His acknowledgement came too late as there is no way FIFA will order for a reply of that match. My question is 'When we as Christians come to such a situation like that, will be stand up and publicly acknowledge the wrong and be a testimony of standing up for righteousness?'

Soup Kitchen Jinjang and In Touch Church second service

This SMS was exchanged with One United Family (for more details of them, do visit my previous blogs) recently. I told them that I will be involved in Soup Kitchen Jinjang one of the Saturday on Nov 2009. The told me that they would like to visit one day whenever they are free. My reply to them was when they come to visit Soup Kitchen (our labor), they must also visit In Touch Church second service at 3.00pm every Sunday (our fruits). That will make the whole cycle complete rather than you visit 'the labor' part without experiencing 'the fruits' or a person having a look at 'the fruits' without seeing 'the labor'. Indeed, Jesus loves the Jinjang folks also.

Bleesed Belated Anniversary to you One United Family

I know this wishes a few days late. Should not have wrote about the sports past two days but I am also human lah. So, acknowledging your anniversary come a bit late. Glad that you all got a wonderful time together on that day. May you all continue to be shining light at Kemuning Hills and wherever you go. Thanks for extending your love to me all these months of having a closer walk with you all and all these years of knowing you. Indeed we are His reflection of One United Family.

Malaysian Sports for last weekend

As the story of Ruth, in your sorrowful beginning there is a happy ending. We started off the Sunday with the loss of our Hockey team to New Zealand and thus end our hopes to qualify for World Cup next year. Later in the afternoon, Lee Chong Wei managed to bring some cheers to all Malaysian badminton fans by taking home the Hong Kong open. Given a choice I would prefer we qualify for the hockey but that is not the case. As for India vs Sri Lanka match as written on my blog the day before, they managed to bat whole of day one after winning the toss and choose to bat first. It was scary to see them last four wickets in first half hour but their middle order did a wonderful job to carry through the innings. Hopefully they will be able to bowl Sri Lanka team out today.

Cricket - India vs Sri Lanka Three Tests Series

Let us hope for an India win this time around after their 50 overs series lost to Australia. Hopefully they will win this test by 3-0 or 2-0 (with one draw) and overtake South Africa at top spot of test nations. If Sri Lanka win this series they will be at top spot of test playing nations. As usual, the team that bat first will have a better chance of winning if they can stay on crease whole of day one. The fielding team will increase their chances of winning if they could bowl out their opponent on day one and batting through up to day three. Do enjoy the match.

Blessed Birthday Pamela Sim

It is a blessing to be In Touch and connected to you all these years in TBC Alor Setar Kedah and today at In Touch Kuala Lumpur. Thank you for keeping an eye on my reading through the bible past two years. I knew it was not a mistake when I ask your help to monitor me. May all the joy and love that you have given to others be returned to you on this special day and always. Look forward to visit your homestate Sabah again next year. Definitely not this year again as the quota twice a year for this year has been filled up on Apr and Sept 2009 trip even though there are two wedding invitation awaiting my confirmation (one in Nov 09 and another in Dec 2009 from two QEH nurses)

Soup Kitchen Jinjang

It is my privilege to be able serve the Jinjang folks this morning. It started with fine weather and early birds have the taste of stingray curry (courtesy of the cook) I may not eat it but it smells good (surely it tastes good too) Downpour middle of the session but three vans bringing the folks back keep us occupied throughout the time. It ended with a good weather and it is blessing to be able to be part of what Fungates Superflow Foundation is doing. Jesus loves you and me as well as the Jinjang folks too.

Heavy rain expected in Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang

The above title was taken from The Star dated 12 Nov 2009 at 2.52pm. According to a statement, the heavy rain can cause flooding in low-lying area near river banks. Let us hope that all the flooding area and any losses will be kept to a minimum. Do not forget the fisherman in small boats, those that involve in sea recreation activities and water sports, etc that their income will not be affected much. God loves the East Coast states as much as he love Kedah, Penang, Perak, Selangor, etc and the Sabah and Sarawak..

SMS exchanges with Pope

There was some interesting SMS exchanged with Pope (for those who dont know who he is, be nice with One United Family and hopefully they will tell you) I was asking him how many members of his church coming to Penang Prophetic conference end of this year. His answer was he will bring the whole church there if I am the speaker. My challenge to him was will he be able to get me the votes from whole state if I am a politician. His reply was church and politics should not mix. That is where many churches got it wrong! What our country needed today is a righteous politicians. Where can it be found? It is amongst God's chosen people and it is time for the people of God to rise and take their place in Nations Transformation.

Airasia - Now everyone can fly

They offered one million of free seats. Got to know of this news yesterday with the expectation travelling period effective April 2010. Shared it with the One United Family (more details on them in Monday blog) where they plan to go Hong Kong on April 2010. Hopefully they can get cheap seat. To my horror, the effective date as per Airasia website is 01 May 2010. My sincere apology to them for providing wrong info. Thank God they have the grace to forgive and love me. Indeed we are a true reflection of His unconditional love and acceptance.

Liverpool - Your season may as good as over

My apology is I were to touch on soccer again. Just when I thought Liverpool will build on with their win over Man United two weeks ago, they prove me wrong by losing the following match versus Fulham. Just when Chelsea did them a favor by beating Man United on Sunday, they could not close the gap on Man United by just drew at home with Birmingham early morning. That also they should have lost the game if not of the penalty that has been awarded to them where there is no contact (foul) at all.

Welcome home One United Family

Todays blog is dedicated to one special family who has just fly back from Hong Kong. It is such a blessing to be connected with you all many years ago and walking in a close relationship with you all past few months. Believe you all got a refreshing time there before walk the land of S'wak, Hong Kong again, our beloved kampong Kedah and north region in the weeks to come. Supremacy belongs to Jesus Christ.

English Premier League - Chelsea vs Man United

Last night I choose the wrong team. Hoping for a win for Kelantan but Negeri Sembilan won 3-1. Tonight I am going for a Chelsea win as much as I would like to see a draw for Liverpool to catch up. However I think Liverpool season is over with their lost to Fulham after hard earned victory over Man United. Looking forward for an interesting Chelsea vs Man United match and both the team better make sure my staying up is worth it. To all of you ot there, do enjoy the game.

M'sia Cup final - Negeri Sembilan vs Kelantan preview

Personally I was hoping for a Terengganu and Kelantan final but that was not the case. I will of course support Kelantan tonight. Not because the other half of me is from there but because Kelantan never win the Malaysia Cup since it started in 1921. As it will be a breakthrough in their state football history if they were to win it this year, let this be a breakthrough in the spiritual realm to this state with their victory. For too long ministers of God feel there is a dark clouds in the spiritual atmosphere on this land. Let us believe for a breakthrough to this land.

Lunch with Main Office staffs

Today's lunch was great with a group of Main Office colleagues. The event was merely introducing some new promotees over there and looking forward for a more cordial working relationship with them. Food was great but could not each much. Reason being : sitting in between two bosses. Scared the fork and spoon may fly off. Of course it costs two working hours and busy whole day covering for additional hour taken. Nonetheless it is good to have mingle with them.

This is first blog ...

I started the day booking a ticket for a pastor from KL to Kuching end of this month. He will be there for a Big Gathering for Iban folks. Now I realize I only give him a One Way Ticket. Does this mean I am dropping a hint for him pioneer a church in East Malaysia? Wish I can be there also but unlikely my leave will be approved. More so it is Hari Raya Haji period and priority will be given to my Muslim colleagues that will be celebrating. Do drop some comments after reading.
