EPL This midweek matches review

This midweek saw a routine win for last year top four teams. Of course Chelsea started it with a win over Fulham on Monday. Looks like Liverpool was the biggest winner amongst them on as they beat Aston Villa on Tuesday. They managed to close their gap with Aston Villa to two point instead of five before the match. No doubt the other two contenders (Spurs and Man City) won their match a day earlier, Liverpool need an extreme late goal from Torres in injury time to get the win. Finally it was a big win for Arsenal playing away to Portsmouth and Manchester United big win over Wigan at home ground. The EPL will take a break this weekend as FA Cup matches will be on.

NLG Asia - Global Chinese Homecoming in Hong Kong

Glad to have the dates for the above gathering early this morning. Looking forward for my first trip to Hong Kong in May 2010. It is by faith that I booked my Airasia ticket without my passport which has expired many years ago. By the favor of God, I am paying only RM513 for both ways. Hopefully the passport can be renewed without any hassle. Next would be arrange for my accommodation as I have no idea of how it will be like. Finally, it is time for me to start raise funds for this trip. It looks like I have around five months to come up with the funds as budget is quite tight at this point of time. Nonetheless, His grace is more than sufficient and His strength is made perfect when I am weak. Indeed, He is the El Shaddai (the all sufficient One)

Bank Apartment - Port Dickson 02 - 05 Feb 2010

The officers apartment roster was just published today. I managed to get a unit of two rooms Bayu Beach Resort on the above date (Tuesday to Friday) Looking forward for few days enjoy the Port Dickson beach. Normally the priority will be given to senior staffs and unlikely for someone two years in the capacity of an officer to get it. Even though it is a working day, at least better to be given four days three nights for a break than nothing at all. Do join me there if anyone of you are free that time. We can go for best Roti Bakar in PD town, make a day trip to Malacca which is an hour away, visiting the places of interest, etc. Hopeful those that is interested can confirm to me soonest possible.

English Premier League Season Last weekend

Looks like this weekend biggest loser is Chelsea. While the rest of the Top Four team managed to register a win, Chelsea only get a draw against Birmingham City. I dont think so it is due to Birmingham goalkeeper on top form but Chelsea does not create many chances enough to be converted to goals. As for the battle of fourth spot Champions League qualification, Liverpool and Man City managed to get a win whereas Spurs finished with a draw and Aston Villa lost to Arsenal. At least Liverpool can close down by another three points even though they are still seventh in the League table. Hopefully the next match middle of this week will give us a clearer picture who are the genuine contenders.

Bus Crash in Ipoh Perak

Todays blog is dedicated to the bus crash on Friday midnight (early Saturday morning) where 10 died due to driver slept while driving. Being a regular user of our express buses when travelling KL to Kedah, a word of prayer or a request for prayer covering in your travel is necessary in these uncertain time. Having the admit that he dozed off and a double digit death is no laughing matter anymore especially on a double decker bus where the lower is as low as you are on the ground. Regardless of the outcome of the investigations, I could not agree at all with the Perak MB recommendation to stop all night buses. Does he know the thousands of people depending on night buses in their travel and our long distance public transport system will be paralysed if it is implemented. Nonetheless, do continue to pray for my safety as I will travel back to KL today by bus.

Driving to Pearl of the Orient

It was a smooth drive slightly before noon to Penang to meet up with a friend. Quite a surprise that the traffic was clear all the way. Even there was not any congestion at the Penang bridge and managed to pick up the friend on time (she is staying at same unit with composer of One United Malaysia song). Went for lunch together at Gurney Plaza, allowed to exchanged things at Parkson and searched for new things in Popular bookstore and MPH bookstore. It was a great outing before sending her back at 6.00pm. Felt that the trip was incomplete without eating Penang food. Went back to Gurney Drive and have few of Penang hawker food. It was worth the drive even though need to use the bridge on the way back instead of a planned ferry trip. The queue at the ferry stretches all the way up to main road and decided not to waste more time and use the bridge instead.

Christmas begins with the heart of God....

Christmas begins with the heart of God (when He gave His only son for our salvation) but it is only complete when it touches the heart of man (when we accept Him as our personal Lord and Savior) May this festive season brings us to remember His birth and gather the harvest as the people out there are more receptive during this season of the year. As each church has their own Christmas programmes, let not replace the message of His birth with variety of programmes. The shopping complex has commercialised Christmas enough by ignoring the message this Peace on eart Goodwill towards man. Let us bring the message of His love wherever we go during this Christmas season

In Touch TBC Family Dinner

This year I am going miss this wonderful dinner as I will be attending a cousin wedding in Kedah. Reached Alor Setar around 2.45am and visited someone in hospital around 10.30am. It was great to see Pope (get to know him through One United Family that mentioned in this blog) there and sitting down for breakfast with him at the hospital canteen. Then it was lunch at my uncle house before the wedding dinner tonight. It was great to catch up with many relatives there before going to the restaurant tonight. Resting the whole afternoon before going to the dinner tonight and Christmas service tomorrow morning. It will be the first time for me to join Christmas service in Mother Church (TBC Kedah) after many years

Going back to hometown today

This will be my fourth trip back to hometown in the month of Dec 2009. The last three times was driving but this time will only take a car. Hopefully can get a ticket later of the day and does not have to wait the bus too long. There will be a cousin wedding dinner to attend on tomorrow and Christmas service on Friday. Probably will go to Penang on Saturday to catch up with a friend that met few monts ago during Malaysia Day National Gathering. I will be back to KL on Sunday and start work again on Monday. Keeping my finger crosssed that office will be kind to me by giving lesser work to attend to that particular day. Hope it is not too early to wish all my Christian friends a Merry Christmas as I am already starting my Christmas break.

Bus station roof and Glass Panel collapsed

The above happened in Terengganu yesterday that have the full headline from The Star newspaper today together with the photos of the incident. Of course this is not a news that we should shout about. Luckily only a handful of people that is injured due to the incident. This was the second incident this year after the stadium roof was blown off on June 2009. That was also another lucky case where no one was injured. I could not imagine if it actualy happened during a full capacity soccer match. By then it will be a national issue in regards to safety. Living in such situation, we need to pray more for our protection. Indeed, we serve a God that is more than able to protect.

This weekend English Premier League matches review

The week started off with the 8.40pm match where Liverpool lost again this time to Portsmouth (the one on the bottom of the table) The ambition to qualify as fourth placed team to Champions League next season is in doubt again as their three genuine rivals (Man City, Aston Villa and Spurs) won their respective matches. Next was to see Man United lost the 11pm match to Fulham. Looks like the many injury to their defenders starts to bother them. The biggest winner for this weekend should be Arsenal as they are the only team managed to win against Hull City in the 1.30am match and close the gap with the top two of the table. Chelsea only managed to draw against West Ham in the only match played on Sunday and extend their lead against Man United by one point against of three. Otherwise they would have been six points clear at the top of the table.

Meeting up with Idris Jala in SIB KL

This suppose to read as of Sunday (20 Dec 2009). It is my privilege to be introduced to Mr Idris Jala after the service at SIB KL. It came as a pleasant surprise to standing next to him and shook his hand. Such a humble and simple man in spite of his position as minister in the government. I really admire his commitment to be present at church on a Sunday morning where I believe he could be busy with others in his capacity at the high places. It was great for him to be there and worship with him in the same sanctuary. Indeed the gospel is not only for the poor and needy people (Jinjang folks) but it is also for the people in high places(Idris Jala).

My birthday and those before and after

It is my birthday today and my privilege to start it off early of this week with a Buffet dinner with One United Family and Ps Greman's family from Sarawak. It feels great to start this day with birthday SMS from my cell group leader. Will be hosting Pizza for all those that is involved in Newkidz Jinjang later of the day. Nonetheless it will be a busy day as I will be rushing over to SIB KL after the children church today. My ex senior pastor is preaching there. Blessed belated birthday to Ps Jennie Seet (In Toiuch TBC) and Christine Lim (HSBC) whom their birthday is a day before and Happy Birthday in advance to Vanessa (introduced by One United Family) who will be celebrating her birthday a day after mine. It is nice to have my birthday in between these three ladies.

In Touch Church Variety Show at HGH Hall Sentul

Today started off on midnight with the arrival of Pope and wife together with my parents about 12.30am. Glad to pick them together with Rachel to HGH Hall Sentul at 6.30am. Drop their daughter there and my privilege to sit with them for Dim Sum breakfast at Jalan Ipoh. It was great to have gone over to Jinjang Utara again around 8.30am after missing them on previous Sunday. Led the buses to HGH Hall Sentul for the In Touch Church Fund Raising Variety Show at 10.00am. It was my privilege to be seated down during the programme instead of serving for once. Probably the church is serious in treating me as a visitor as I was not even been given the Ushers badge meant for all their members. Nonetheless it was great to enjoy the whole show without any interruption and led the Jinjang folks up the bus after everything is over.

Welcome Bank my old Faithful car

It is been challenging to live in Kuala Lumpur without a car for the last fifteen days. Send my car back to Kedah on 03 Dec 2009 and will be receiving it back here on today. Hopeful it will serve me well many years ahead. It is blessing to have One United Family that offer their vehicle. My apology that the family has to cycle out for breakfast and the queen of the house cycle one way to the saloon and require the head of the house to pick her and the bicycle home. My sincere appreciation for your sacrifices which minimising me using Bus number 11. I am sure that the pastors that come for the Walk the Land - Kedah, Perlis and Northern Region are blessed to be on the Toyota Avanza or Naza Kia instead of my humble Ford. Indeed we all are a testimony of One United Family.

Ps Greman and Family returning to Sarawak

Today's blog is dedicated to an Iban family that I have the privilege to spend the last one week with them and it is an honor to host them at my humble apartment the last three days. Do continue to drop by whenever you all are here and thanks for the invitation for me going to Sarawak. Wish you all have a smooth check in at LCCT and the pilot decide to take off on time and there will be no delay in your arrival at Kuching. Look forward to meet you again on Feb 2010 and hopefully for Hong Kong on May 2010. Indeed you all have been a great blessing to me all these months of knowing you.

Birthday week starts off with a Bang

Those that know me close enough will realize that my birthday is coming Saturday. It was a good start on Monday to have a birthday fellowship with One United family and Ps Greman and his family from Sarawak. It meant a lot to me being sang Happy Birthday in the presence of other diners at Pyramid Tower Sunway Selangor. I do not mind getting older in that case to be in His presence (such a sweet spirit at the venue with the openness of sharing from all) as well as your physical presence. Thanks for the birthday gift and I will use it for NLG events as often as I wear the Malaysia Day t-shirt and Hu Guan Siou t-shirt during NLG functions. Glad being able to be in touch with both families as all of Walk this NLG Corporate journey together.

EPL Weekend review - Liverpool lost again

I wrote this after knowing the results of all the matches played on Saturday and Sunday. It was hopeful that Liverpool can win against Arsenal and close the gap with the top teams after Man United playing at home suffer a 0-1 loss to Aston Villa, Chelsea playing at home drew 3-3 with Everton, Man City drew 3-3 playing away with Bolton and Spurs lost 0-1 at home to Wolves but as usual, it was not the case. They lost 1-2 playing at home to Arsenal. The question now is not whether they will come close towin the EPL this year but they might not be able to qualify to Champions League next year.

Driving through and Praying for Perak

This should be read as if it is on Sunday (13 Dec 2009) I have the privilege to start the day dropping off Ps Chin and wife at Penang airport for a direct flight to Kota Kinabalu Sabah. It was good to drive back from Penang to Kuala Lumpur and a wonderful experience for Ps Greman children to be on the Penang ferry. Went to Taiping for lunch hosted by family friend of Ps Donald and Ps Greman. Great to have Ps Donald praying for Perak with everyone on the One United Family Toyota Avanza agreeing. Spend additional few hours there for Ps Greman son to rest. It was quite of a concern to see him pretty weak and throw out few times within an hour. Glad that he managed to get some medical attention and rest before continue our journey later of the evening. We prayed as we reach Kuala Kangsar (royal town of Perak) and Ipoh (the state capital of Perak). Indeed we love Perak also as NLG Walk the land of Kedah, Perlis and North region.

Walk the Land - Penang (eye opener at Fort Cornvallis

This blog should read as if it is written on Saturday (12 Dec 2009) It was great to start the day dropping Ps Michael Liman at Penang airport flying back to Kota Kinabalu Sabah. It was good to have joined the team to visit Butterfly farm and late lunch at one of the hawker centre in middle of city. It was worth a visit to Fort Cornvallis and learnt some history there. Managed to find out that Kedah sold Penang to the British for only Spanish Dollar 30k. Today the whole island should worth more than Thirty billion pound. We still love the British even though they short changed the Sultan of Kedah for that land. We closed the day with seafood dinner by the beach.

NLG team Visiting Kulim Kedah and Walk the Land Penang

This should be read as on Friday (11 Dec 2009). As usual, due to no internet connection, it is written only on today. It is my privilege to Gerald to the airport early morning and handle the booking of Ps Michael Liman flight ticket back to Kota Kinabalu Sabah. Then it was a blessing being seated in between Ps Donald and Ps Barnabas for morning prayer and to drop off Pastor Donald to preach in Full Gospel Church Kedah. Great to have spend two hours with him drive from Kedah to Penang. Thank God for One United Family that call up to inform massive traffic jam on North South highway. Managed to exit Pendang and joined back from Gurun for smooth drive to the island. Such joy to be able to walk alongside with Ps Jerry Dusing and wife while leading them to the NLG Core team Corporate Hearing. What a day to end with wonderful dinner at The Ship and joining Ps Greman Ujang to pick up his wife at Penang airport.

Driving back to Kedah again

This will be my third trip driving back to Kedah within the last seven days. Will be meeting the family head of One United Malaysia after my work and drive together with him. The wife gave an instruction for us to arrive soonest possible. Normally I am humble enough to say I will take nine to ten hours from Kuala Lumpur to Kedah but looks like we might need to make it in six hours this time around. Probably need to cut short our break for dinner but it is achievable target. Could not wait to meet up with the National Leaders Gathering team again and join them for Kulim Kedah and Penang on tomorrow and hopefully Perak the following dinner. Thank you NLG for Walking of Kedah (my beloved homestate), Perlis and Northern region.

Welcome NLG team to Kedah

This should be read as on Wednesday. It is my privilege to welcome the National Leaders Gathering team to my beloved homestate Kedah. Glad to have driven home the night before and able to be at the airport to welcome the team on this morning. Good breakfast together and great to see the Sarawakian eating Thosai. It was wonderful to check the venue and drop off some people at their resting place. It is an honor to be able to lead the Johore and Sabah team from the highway toll booth and join the rest of the team for lunch. It is fun to drop children at the mall when the adults have their meetings and pick them up later of the afternoon. It is my privilege to host a family for a night and lead them to the meeting place and back home after late dinner cum supper. Indeed this is the day that the Lord has made.

Another drive to Alor Setar

Tonight will be another drive to Alor Setar Kedah after my work. It is my privilege to be bringing the Supremacy banner back to my homestate. It will be the second drive within a week since my last trip on last Wednesday. Hopefully it will be faster as need to reach Kedah by 8am to welcome the National Leaders Gathering team that will walk the land of Kedah, Perlis and northern region. Another motivation to arrive earlier is to watch the ending part of tonight Champions League matches. Nonetheless, firm instruction was given to take a good rest before the NLG - Corporate Hearing on tomorrow afternoon. Jesus enter the land of Kedah and We welcome Him.

Last weekend English Premier League

This is written having known the results already. What I thought will be a routine win for top clubs prove to be wrong. Chelsea lost to Man City and that allow Man United to close the gap with their win over West Ham. Arsenal is back to winning ways with their win over Stoke City but most dissappointing will be for the Liverpool fans. They drew yet again with Blackburn this time around whereas their genuine contenders for fourth Champions League teams (Man City and Villa) recorded wins whereas Spurs drew their match with Everton. Another two points drop for Liverpool which can be costly comes the end of the season.

Welcome home One United Family

This blog should have been written on Sunday but there is no internet connection. It is such a privilege to be at KLIA greeting One United Family who is just back from Hong Kong. Glad to hear of the fresh news that they bring back from Hong Kong in regards of the Gathering of the Chinese World to be held in Hong Kong on May 2010. The sharing that was deposited is indeed refreshing to know what God is doing not only to this nation of Malaysia but worldwide. I am honored to be part of this corporate journey and as we continue Walking the Land, may we continue to remember that it is all by His grace and not by our might. Surely all glory to Him.

Day Trip to Sarawak

This blog should be written to Saturday but there was no connection for me to do so. It is a blessings to visit Kuching Sarawak the first time and great to have the local breakfast there. Good to have attended an Iban wedding there in the afternoon and fly back in the evening with two pre teen (children of someone that I refer them as One United Family in my blogs) It was indeed a good trip even though someone was saying this is across South China Sea lah. Why do you make it a day trip? It is not somewhere near like Putrajaya, Port Dickson, Malacca, Genting, etc. What they are saying is why not you spend more days there but the trip is all worth it. May the land of Sarawak will be blessed, the people will claim their rights and grab the opportunities (as mentioned in my blog before)

Going to Kota Kemuning

I am still wondering how to make my way to Kota Kemuning. Need to pick up a car from one where I refer them as One United Family in blogs. First was asking another family friends that stays opposite their blocks but they have visitors tonight. Next was asking my church member but the wife finished her meeting noon time where I am still working. The husband was in Subang Parade where I can easily take KTM Komuter there but he will leave before I can reach there. Decided not to hold back his time. Next was to ask help from my cell leader who is going that area but he is already there when I SMS him and he return my call. How I wish there is a public transport to that area but Rapid KL only have two buses servicing that area where I need to take from Sri Muda Shah Alam. That will be my last resort as that place is usually flooded whenever it rains.

Fell flat at home today after the drive

It was a long drive since morning from Kuala Lumpur to Kedah. First stop was at Tapah for breakfast along the highway. Next was Bukit Gantang to buy back some fruits. Guess what did I buy? It is the King of the fruits lah - Durian. After that was delivering materials to Penang and just nice to have lunch there. Went to the Island my bridge and return to mainland by ferry. It was nice after long does not spend time on the ferry. Started journey at 7.30am and reaches Kedah at 4pm. I am proud that it took me nine hours cause I am not a fast driver.

After a long day in the office today, it will be a long night too

After office today will be full of activity. Not that kind of Happy Hours Drink kind o gathering but to pick up Pope (for those that does not know him yet, be nice to the One United Family as my previous posts in case they will tell you) from KLIA at 8pm. Need to send him catch a bus at Pudu at 12am. Hopefully can collect few boxes to be taken back to Kedah. Hopefully I am not tired to start driving at midnight. Otherwise, will sleep first and start my journey tomorrow early morning. Need to drop by a church in Penang and deliver one full car boot of materials over for the Prophetic Conference. Keeping my finger crossed that able to reach Kedah home and rest before noon time.

MCA crisis - God is raising the church above .....

Last week our Deputy Prime Minister targets today as the dateline to settle MCA crisis as his Key Performance Index before our Prime Minister come back from overseas. Looks like the target that he set unlikely to be achieved. Speaking from overseas our Prime Minister want to see the crisis to be settled before he fly home. As the current situation, it may just seems to be as unfulfilled wish. What is the message of God for the above crisis? I am fully convinced that God is raising the church above the confusion of this Land. It is time for the church to stand up and intercede for this nation.
